The Strand Café first opened it’s doors at The Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge in November 2022 and has been creating quite a buzz since then.

Visitors to the café will be charmed by it’s relaxed ambiance and it’s friendly, helpful staff.  The café operators have gone to great efforts to amass locally sourced and grown – (where possible) ingredients in order that the chefs can produce food items from scratch.  These foods include our own brown breads, mouth watering tray bakes, hearty soups, sumptuous pies, tarts and gateaux to name just a few of the tasty treats available to our customers. Our menus are seasonal and our specials ever changing.

The café offers an outside catering facility also.  Customers can avail of the same high quality products which we have tried and tested at the café in their own homes, offices or wherever they choose.  Our chefs will be delighted to help and guide you in food choices.
